<p>Dr Jessica Chang is an endocrinologist who graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2003. Dr Chang is also a qualified dietitian from Flinders University, South Australia. She completed her basic physician training and endocrinology advance training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2010. Dr Chang then undertook her Masters of Philosophy research in the area of diabetic gastric emptying at the University of Adelaide.</p>
<p>Dr Chang relocated to Victoria in 2012. She has continued her clinical interest in the management of all spectrums of diabetes mellitus and is also skilled in the management of insulin pumps. Her background as a qualified dietitian as well as a fitness instructor has given her an additional gear to motivate and help with weight loss in patients.</p>
<p>Dr Chang specializes in General Endocrinology, encompassing the management of thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders, diabetes, osteoporosis and obesity. Dr Chang is available to discuss urgent referrals or any clinical issues with General Practitioners, and converses in English, Mandarin, Hokkien and Malay languages.</p>

<p><strong>Associate Professor Dennis Thiam Leong Wong  </strong></p>

<p><strong>Consultant Interventional Cardiologist &amp; Cardiac Imaging Specialist</strong></p>
<p>A/Professor Dennis Wong graduated with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2003. He completed his physician, cardiology and all aspects of cardiac imaging (echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT) at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He then completed a 2 year interventional fellowship at MonashHeart acquiring skills in coronary stenting, intravascular imaging and fractional flow reserve as well as structural intervention.</p>
<p>Dennis is a consultant interventional, cardiac MRI and CT cardiologist at Monash Medical Centre. Besides Monash Medical Centre, he has admitting rights to Jessie McPherson, The Valley and Epworth private hospitals. Dennis sees himself firstly as a general physician and secondly as a cardiologist. He has interest in all aspects of Cardiology (coronary artery disease, heart failure, structural heart disease &amp; hypertension) and has been serving regional Australia in Mildura as a visiting general physician and cardiologist since 2010.</p>
<p>Dennis has completed a PhD in cardiac MRI and MD in the area of cardiac CT. His PhD thesis was awarded the Dean’s commendation for thesis excellence by the University of Adelaide. He has published more than 70 original manuscripts in leading international journals such as <em>Lancet</em> and <em>Journal of American College of Cardiology. </em>He is a reviewer and Editorial Board member for international peer reviewed journals. Besides winning 12 Young Investigator awards, he won the <strong>Ralph Reader prize</strong> in 2013 which is the highest accolade for emerging Cardiology researchers in Australia and New Zealand.  He has been the recipient of prestigious research scholarships including NHMRC postgraduate scholarship and Early Career Fellowship as well as National Heart Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship.  He is an international expert in the field of cardiac CT and has successfully supervised PhD candidates in the area of cardiac CT and plaque assessment. He holds an associate professor appointment through Monash University where he actively researches and lectures.</p>
<p>Dennis converses in fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka and Malay languages. Dennis is married with 3 children. He enjoys sports such as tennis, badminton and soccer. He is a long suffering Liverpool FC fan.</p>

<p>Dr. Yuvaraj Malaiapan graduated from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. He completed his physician training in Ipoh, Malaysia and  subsequently undertook Cardiology training in Penang Hospital, Malaysia.</p>
<p>He completed his interventional cardiology training at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne.<br />
Yuvaraj worked as an interventional and general cardiologist in Penang, Malaysia from 2002 to 2004. He returned to Australia in 2004 and in 2005, took on the role of Director of Cardiac Catheterization laboratories, MonashHeart. In 2007, he became the Head of Interventional Cardiology Services at MonashHeart, Monash Medical Centre, a position he held till 2015. Yuvaraj continues to work at MonashHeart, Monash Medical Centre and Jessie MacPherson Private Hospital. He has trained in Cardiac CT angiogram attaining level 2 expertise and is a member of the Cardiac CT angiogram reporting team at MonashHeart, Monash Medical Centre. He is also a senior lecturer at Monash University.<br />
Yuvaraj is an Australian expert and resource person in intravascular ultrasound and rotational atherectomy. He regularly conducts workshops around Australia, teaching and training interventional cardiologists on complex coronary intervention utilizing these two technologies.</p>
<p>Yuvaraj has published widely in peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include intracoronary imaging, percutaneous management of acute myocardial infarction, refractory hypertension and chronic total coronary occlusion. He completed his doctoral thesis in the contemporary use of intravascular ultrasound in complex coronary intervention in 2014 and was awarded the MD degree by Monash University.</p>
<p>Yuvaraj enjoys mentoring, theology, and photography. He is married and has three children.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr Andrew Lin graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science in 2008.  He completed his physician training at St Vincent&#8217;s Hospital Melbourne, followed by advanced training in cardiology at the Royal Brisbane and Women&#8217;s Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He subsequently completed a fellowship in advanced echocardiographic and cardiac CT interpretation at MonashHeart.</p>
<p>Andrew is currently undertaking PhD research into the detection of vascular inflammation using cardiac CT and its relationship with different stages of coronary artery disease, and has been awarded a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council Postgraduate Scholarship. He is also training in cardiac MRI.</p>
<p>Andrew is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.</p>

<p>Lyndal has over 30 years experience in cardiac technology, working throughout Australia and Asia. She has a particular interest in echocardiography and training, and has been a senior sonographer, educator and examiner in cardiac ultrasound. Her clinical career has taken her from large metropolitan teaching hospitals to small rural clinics. She has also worked with an international ultrasound company, training and supporting doctors across many cultures. Lyndal is committed to providing an efficient, friendly and professional service.</p>

<p>Samantha is a credentialed diabetes educator who had trained extensively at the Royal Children’s and Western Hospital. Samantha is an experienced diabetes educator with expansive public and private practice experience. Samantha offers excellence in Diabetes education and management in Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Steroid induced and Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes. Samantha is also well experienced in initiation, education and ongoing management of patients on Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion (CSII). In addition Samantha is also an expert in Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGMS) – insertion, downloading and analysis.</p>
<p>Samantha always prided herself in delivering excellence when it comes to patient care and will continue to do her utmost when it comes to education and management of patients.</p>
